We are absolutely delighted to
announce that the Purple Agency have appointed Samantha Alderman as our Digital
Media Manager to drive our digital media and marketing strategy.
Samantha has worked in digital media for nine years at two of the top 10 agencies in London, PHD Media and
Starcom Worldwide. At PHD Samantha had a number of roles, starting as Digital
Media Planner / Buyer, progressing to Digital Media Manager, Digital Account
Director, then on to Digital Buying Director.
During her time at PHD Sam was also their Mobile Marketing Specialist. Her most recent role at PHD was Social Response Director, with sole responsibility for driving Social Media Strategy across the client portfolio. Sam also managed a team of Social Strategists who implemented and managed social media campaigns. This is an area in which the Purple Agency is growing at a phenomenal rate, and Samantha’s expertise will ensure our Social Media and Community Management team deliver compelling strategies and ROI in paid and earned media.
As Digital Account Director at PHD Media, her main client was Warner Bros. for whom Sam managed multiple campaigns across multiple markets whilst also managing a team of Digital Planners / Buyers and Campaign Managers.

Sam brings a wealth of big brand
experience and digital media knowledge to the Purple Agency. Her passion is
strategy and planning within the media space, and her new role will cover all of
the digital media and marketing mix, including digital media planning and strategy, content marketing and seeding, email marketing strategies, search
engine marketing, display advertising and social media.
Samantha’s persistent can-do
attitude pushes the creative limits of digital media. With her vibrant personality and big smile, Samantha’s appointment is integral to our continued growth in the digital marketing space.
